New Resale Contract
I received my "New" Member ID and Code. logged on with out any trouble, but no points. Called MS - She states it will take 4 weeks after closing. Umm I don't think that's right. So now I'm on hold for QA . Has this happen to anyone else. TIA

I wasn't on the buyer side, but when we sold some points recently they did sit in our account for a lot longer than I expected before finally transferring over to the buyer. I actually called MS and asked and they gave me a similar answer about a lag. They did finally move out :) So there was indeed a delay while some final paperwork happened after the transaction had happened.

OA is saying they or the person working on this is not available right now and might be at lunch.
But she is checking on it :thumbsup2 So I'm back on hold. Fingers crossed I can get this fixed today.

Update: it will take another 7 -10 days for it to up date, but no later than the 27th.

The three resale contracts we did were between 4-5 days from when the account appeared until points loaded. Totally normal. Can take longer.

MA creates the contract shell and membership account. Once created, they send the info to MS who then loads the points.

It takes 7 to 10 days for points to be added. However, many will call MS 24 to 48 hours after the contract can be seen and ask to have it done faster.

I'd love to know why it takes so long. There doesn't seem to be a logical reason for the delay to be so long.

Call back tomorrow. They should be able to

When you log in, if you can see the contract populated and it shows zero points just call back tomorrow. Usually the day after the contract loads, MS can load the points for you. They aren’t able to do it same day.

Resales have their own rules.
Dvc administration priority is DIRECT purchases. They clear those accounts daily THEN process resales as time allows.
That is why it takes longer since resales get 'pushed' off till days later.

Given the direct incentives right now, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a backlog.
