I think it might be, but I'm going to ask. I figure the worst you could say is "yes."

DD17 was accepted to SCAD's Rising Star program...we leave on Saturday!:cool1: I only need 1 night of hotel to drop her at the program, and we're staying in Savannah. I pick her up on July 21 for the end of program show. We staying until Saturday, July 23 for a short mother/daughter trip. I haven't booked hotel yet. We have points available, but HHI is totally booked. I'm not surprised because it's the middle of summer.

My unrealistic question: Do I have a shot of getting 2 nights (Thursday and Friday) if I call Member Services and try to waitlist? In our 15 years of ownership, we've never needed to waitlist anything so the process is new.

Thanks!!!

Do you have a shot? There's always a shot. I would have a backup plan, though.

I wouldn't count on it, but there's no reason not to waitlist. Have a back up plan (book something you can cancel) but sure, why not? Someone could cancel.

I own at DVC HHI. It is usually booked full in summer. Waitlist now as someone may cancel right before 30 days out. If you get inside 30 days, likelihood is under 20%, IMHO. There are far fewer studios and 1BRs than 2BR, so studio will be tough.

Thank you for all the replies! My back-up plan is to stay in Savannah, but I thought it would be fun to stay at HHI and let her decompress from 5 (what I expect to be) intense weeks at SCAD. I'll give it a shot...nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Hope something opens up for you! Really, a 2 bedroom is your best shot.
