Is this happening to anyone else?

I just got 104 emails from Microsoft that Norton found a virus in. I got about 80 yesterday. I tried blocking them but they are all coming from different emails. Is anyone else frustrated by this?!

That most likely is the newest email worm that I saw on CNN this morning. They aren't really from Microsoft, just forged to look that way.

They are probably coming from infected computers that have your email in their address books.

Do you have a virus protector installed on your computer? Mine caught this message this morning (I think it's the same one) and bounced them all back. I know it's after-the-fact but if you don't have a virus protector installed it's not too late to do it and it's really important if you are participating in boards/forums like this one.

I do have NAV. It removes the infected file but still lets the email through. It's very frustrating. I have been creating new filters all morning.

I hate those virus things. I have Norton antivirus newly installed. I hope it does it's job

Yeah, I saw that yesterday when I got the first email. I'm still getting about ten per hour even with all of the blocks and filters I've enabled. This is so frustrating!

Not much you can do, Samirella. I would say you have friends or folks who have your email in their address books and they, unknowingly, are infected, therefore, sending off emails to you So sad there are jerks in this world who spend their time trying to hurt others.
