Is this good enough spacing?

Ohana Breakfast at 8:45 am and BOG lunch at 1:10 pm.

Should I make my Ohana breakfast earlier?

I made it for 8:45 because it might be a hike to get to from AoA and with 3 small kids don't want to get them super early to make an earlier ADR.

Thoughts?

If earlier for Ohana might be an issue, how about making BOG lunch a little later?

I think it depends on how much you think your kids will eat. Will 3 small kids eat a lot because it's all you can eat or will they eat their normal amount? I assume the adults will eat quite a bit, but they can adjust their lunch accordingly and just have an app or share an entree. You'll have at least 3 hours between meals, if not more, so I think you're okay unless you think the kids will stuff themselves. Of course, they could also share at lunch if need be.

One thing to take into consideration, though. It will be at least 10 am and maybe closer to 10:30 before you get into MK. That's only 2 1/2 hrs of touring time before you have to be at BoG for lunch. Will those little ones be ready to stop riding rides to go eat again?

Too close for us. 'OHana breakfast is All You Care To Eat. I would skip BOG lunch and just have a snack for lunch and then a regular dinner.

If they really want to do Ohana, keep that! Uber would be quickest or a taxi or Lyft to get there (that's what I'd do). I wouldn't want to use the bus then monorail - waste of time. PS: if there are 5 of you, an Uber XL will be best, or a taxi van (they're always nearby AOA)!

Much as I enjoyed our lunches at BOG, I would totally skip it as well. The adult portions are pretty sizeable, and I'd still be full!

If the kids need a snack in the afternoon, get them one. But they may not even want to do another meal that soon after arriving at MK. When we've done breakfast (which is usually once a trip), we also skip lunch. There are plenty of places to grab a snack at the MK.

I'd def. make it for earlier. First, O'Hana is notorious for getting behind, so the earlier your ADR, the better. Also, even if you're seated at your ADR time, you're really using up the low crowd time at MK. If it were us, we'd try to get an ADR at O'Hana as early as possible and keep the BOG one at 1:10. If you really feel that it's just not going to work with your family for an earlier one, then I'd probably skip it, or possibly make it for a later breakfast so you can do MK with lower crowds first thing in the morning and then do a late breakfast at O'Hana, but that'd have to be a different day than your BOG lunch.

I think it's fine. I find with kids, younger ones especially, they pretty much eat their normal amount of food, even at a buffet/all you can eat. So, they will be hungry again at lunch time. That is definitely the experience I've had with my son. I tend to portion control a bit at the buffets so that I don't stuff myself at one meal and not be ready for the next.

I agree with the majority - we are never hungry for lunch on the days we do a TS breakfast.

I would not be hungry... I found the ideal spacing between larger meals at disney to be 6-7 hours between start times (with maybe a snack). anything less and am I am plain not hungry for the next meal.
