I was thinking of it's tough to be a bug and feel free to laugh at me because I am not sure if I am going to want to watch that show after reading nest by kennith oppeal sorry misspelled his name prior reading the book I would be able to do that attraction no problem so can I book the fast pass and not use it that way if I change my mind I can join my family or do I have to make up my mind 60 days in advance

You can change fastpasses as often as you want within the 60 days (onsite) as long as there is availability.

You can skip whatever fastpasses you want without penalty - although if you know you're going to skip a FP it would be nice to cancel it and put it back in circulation for other guests.

You can cancel any/all fastpasses any time after booking up until time of redemption.

I am sorry I am not looking to take a spot from someone else but same token I also hope to forget about the book come February

Good point so your saying just get in line when it fits into our schedule
Yes, especially because you won't know until a week before going to WDW that you are actually going to WDW based on your parents' work schedules per your other threads.

You won't have to worry about the 60-day booking window when your parents haven't booked an onsite resort room reservation. You'll just have to wait and see what is available less than a week before your trip - you'll be able to find a Bug FP! :)

I think OP said that situation has changed and her trip is being booked soon.

It is very nice of you to be concerned about missing a FastPass reservation, but there is no need to worry at all. You can always change your mind about a FastPass, it doesn't hurt anyone else if you cancel, reschedule, or don't show up. They will just let other people in from the standby entrance.

There is usually a lot of space available for It's a Bug's Life. So you can use your FastPasses for something else and just come to this show whenever you feel like it.

For some reason, I am squeamish about this show. I know it's not real, but the feeling of bugs crawling around in the dark is scary. I can't imagine reading a book about scary bugs or watching those nature specials before seeing this show! Hahaha. :)

If you are not going during a super busy time of the year, the line for that attraction shouldn't be too long.

absolutely - the theater is seldom full and the "15" minute wait is the hike down to the theater and the wait until the next show starts. Use your FP for the safari, Expedition Everest, Festival of the Lion King, Nemo really anything other than the Bug
