I've never gotten one of these before and want to make sure this is a vaild email, not a hoax. (How cynical I've become!)

I think I've found an answer:

Q: How do I get my prize or payment?

You will be notified by e-mail after the survey is closed, usually 6 - 8 weeks after you've taken a survey.

The e-mail will contain instructions to confirm your name and current mailing address in order to receive your payment. Please make sure your e-mail address is entered correctly when you join SurveySpot so that we can reward you! And please make sure your mailbox is not full or beyond its storage capacity so that you are able to receive your messages.

I did get a survey from them once and it said that I would earn $5 for answering. They said it would take 6 to 8 weeks, maybe if you go to Survey Spot home page, it will have more info there? I would also make sure that it isn't a spoof mail, like the ones sent out from "ebay" asking for ID, password, CC numer and PIN! If this offer asks for any of that, I would seriously go back to Survey Spot and ask them.

Edited to add - Well, I guess you knew what to do after all. Isn't it nice that some of these really do pay? Five bucks is five bucks!

I do Survey Spot. I joined thru Luckypoints. They normally do not pay per survey, but after you complete it you go into the "pool" for their cash prizes.

If you have ever done a survey for them then I would get back to them. If not than it just may be a spoof. But that would kinda surprise me because they seem pretty decent so far.

I hope that you do get paid. Surprises are nice aren't they?

I'm pretty sure this is the type email I got when I won a drawing from them for $50.

I followed the link, provided my info, and when finished it said I would get a check in 4-6 weeks. I remember taking a vacation survey or two. One was surely for GOZING (how could I forget when it pertainied to WDW ) and that payment will be going thru PayPal in about a week, so I'm thinking there probably was another vacation survey I took- it's just vague what the subject was.
