$114.00 !!!! I just read this on the mousesaver site. Does this happen often or is it just one of those flukey things they offer and there's just 2 rooms available at this price?

Yes it can happen. In Sept 2001, we had a similar rate for AKL with AP. Last Jan 2003, we had $49 night at the All Star Sports. We're just waiting for the AP rates to come out for this Sept.

Last November, we got the AKL standard room for $119/night. We thought that was terrific! Enjoy your stay!

Go for it. It is a great resort! Maybe you'll even be lucky and get a free upgrade to a savannah room... you never know!

My trip isn't until next summer. I'm going to get AP's and I'm just wondering about that incredible rate of $114/night that apparently was what the standard room's were offered for if you were an AP holder..

We are paying $119 +tax for a standard room at AKL for September using the come back rate code offered in January 2003 while we were at ASSp. Hoping the AP rates for Sept are just as good or better. We are waiting along with everyone else for Sept AP rates.

I booked AKL with the passholder rate for Jul 6-11. Booked it last week and still can't believe the great rate. Today my dw happened upon the Travel Channel show "Great Hotels", and guess what hotel was featured? She had the wisdom to pop in a tape. We showed it to the kids tonight and then told them we were going to Disneworld and staying there. They are thrilled to say the least!
