I just put in a touring plan for my first day and it shows pulling FP fairly close together. I thought you could pull FP every 2 hours (I know Buzz is disconnected). Is this plan even possible? I'm confused now. Picture in next post.

No, something looks wrong there. You can get a new Fastpass after you have used the old one (or gone into the window where you can use it) or 2 hours after getting it, whichever comes first.

I guess it depends when the FP return time for Space is, but that would be pretty quick return time. If it's a 10AM day though and you are there for MM, then it might be before 11.

SM Fastpasses are pretty popular right now with Hyperspace Mountain and I'd say Star Tours is a close second, so I don't know how accurate this plan would be in conjunction with the FP time you would pull.
Also, if this is on a 10am park opening day, it doesn't have you waiting in line to sign up for JTA, which can take a bit depending on the line. Thursday it took us almost an hour just to sign up!

This plan is assuming the minimum fastpass window of 40 minutes for Space Mountain. With the current popularity of Space Mountain and you not pulling the fastpass immediately upon park entry, I wouldn't expect a 40 minute window. Still, at 22 minutes after park opening and not a particularly crowded day, I guess it might not be pushed too far out yet. I would personally guess more like an hour until your window opens for getting another fastpass and using the Space one.

The part I'm more skeptical about is that you would be off Peter Pan by 10:13 am. That definitely requires some strategizing and luck. You have to be one of the first people on Peter Pan at 10 am in order to be off the ride by that time. That Peter Pan line can get crazy quickly. Even being pushed back just a short way behind the rushing crowd can quickly turn that from a 5 minute to 15-20 minute wait which could make it closer to 10:25 or 10:30 when you are getting off that ride.

The previous poster also has a good point about the Jedi Training Academy. I don't see any time built in for getting your fastpass for that if your child is wanting to be in the show and not just watch it. The child has to be present to get the fastpass; you can't just send a runner, so that needs to be factored into the morning's activities.

That early it's *possible* the FP might have info on the bottom saying that you could get another FP really early, but....

And if you are participating in JTA, not just watching it, you have to put time in to get signed up for it for that first show. So your whole morning is skewed wrong.

touringplans didn't have a way to schedule that in at all for our recent trip. I just had to know that we needed to get there asap, and schedule things after it. (in our case we wanted to be there first so we had our choice of times. got there early and got in on the 2ish time slot, our choice, giving us plenty of time to do other things)

I honestly think TP just have not adjusted to Hyperspace Mountain changing the popularity - on our past trips at that time of day Space didn't have much more of a 15 minute wait just after opening and you'd never see FPs run out for it, but that has since changed - so while it's possible this could work, I doubt it's probable. I have never used Touring Plans though so not sure how reliable they are.

Buzz Lightyear FP?

Yes, it came back several months ago. I know we got them during both our Thanksgiving and New Year's trips. There is one fastpass machine at the end of the lineup of Star Tours fastpass machines that has been switched to Buzz fastpasses. If there is a line for Star Wars fastpasses, then you have to wait in that line to get to the Buzz machine whether or not you also want the Star Tours fastpass.

My understanding is that Buzz is disconnected, so when pulling at Star Tours FP you just also pull the Buzz as well?

Yep, it's the last Fast Pass machine in the area for Star Tours. I pull one when I get Star Tours and I have found it so handy to have that FP when waiting for another return time to open!
