Is this doable?

We are going to US and IOA for the first time ever in May. We usually go to Disney but we thought we would try something different this time. We are staying at the Portofino Bay resort and we are staying for 4 nights and 5 days (arriving really early on the first day and leaving really late on the last day) What we were wondering is this--we are thinking of maybe going to the Magic Kingdom one of the days that we are there--is it possible to do US, IOA and Disney in the amount of time we are there?

Sure you can. Try to schedule your MK visit on a day other than a Saturday or a holiday, due to crowds. Believe me, once you've gotten spoiled by Universal Express and the quick access to the parks, standing on line in MK will be very hard!

We sometimes do this also. If you arent renting a car you can arrange a car service or mears for transportation. But like Robin said...it is so hard to go and have to stand on long lines after being spoiled at Universal. Have Fun!

And from everything I've heard, the Loews hotel folks will be very helpful in arranging transportation, if you need it.

Absolutly!!
We went to Universal Studios and the Islands of Adventure the last time we went to Disney. We spend two days there.
We spent the morning at one park and the afternoon at the other, and the second day we went we started in the park that we had gone to in the afternoon the previous day.
We went on every ride at IOA, and went to two shows, And hit all the rides at US, but skipped the shows because they were not our top priority.
Plus we spent time at all four Disney parks.
We just made sure to get to the gates at Universal about 1/2 hour before they opened!
