This spring we are planning a trip wit our DS, wife and 2 kids ages 5 and 1. We have 2 studios at BLT for the first week and the plan is to get a 2 bedroom at AKL for the last 4 nights.

If we followed this plan, we would need to visit several parks using buses. I'm thinking what if WE stayed at BLT and AKL. But DS did few days at BLT. few days at BCV, and then AKL. Yes, moving can be a pain, but so are buses with a stroller. We just love staying at BCV for the access to Epcot and DHS.

OK, here is the question....Can myself or my DH be adding to their BCV reservation, just to have access to take kids to pool?

May not even be an issue, they may spent the time at the parks or take the kids to the pool themselves. But last trip we did watch the older child a few times, while parents went out on their own. Or they may decide they don't want to deal with all the moving. Just want to know options.

So long as you don't exceed room capacity, yes. If you exceed room capacity, no. The kids' Magic Bands will open the pool gates, however, and so long as you're accompanying the small children who have the bands with access, just talk to the guards and tell them what is up. Shouldn't be an issue.

If you DS & family have a refurbed studio at BCV, they can add two additional adults to the reservation. Occupancy is 5 plus an infant under the age of 3. I assume that they would not be adding a dining plan - if they did, adding people to the room would require the additions to also purchase the dining plan

IMO, BCV is not that great of a pool for small children - it can be tought o watch them at such a large & varied complex. The pool at AKV - Kidani has some great features for kids, including a small slide that the 5 year old might enjoy. Big water lay area.

FWIW, I'd deal with the stroller all day long over moving and being "homeless" for the good part of moving day with 2 small children. If Dad is in charge of the stroller, there's still 3 adults to deal with the two children. But YMMV.

Have fun planning the trip!

Yeah, it's sort of a toss up. Like you said, buses and strollers. Dh and I have gotten very spoiled with our trips the last 4 or 5 yrs. We booked BLT and pray for part of the trip at BCV. So far so good. At BLT, we go to MK and AK. AT BCV, Epcot and DHS. We loved not waiting for a bus to show up.
