Is this ADR time early enough for departure?

I think this sounds like enough time but I'm not familiar with Disney transportation, Magical Express or the Orlando Airport...

Is this enough time to eat and get to the airport?
Would we have to take our bags with us to CM or will ME get them to the airport?

Hi,

Sorry, but that is not enough time. You need to board the ME bus from the resort where you are staying. And ME will pick you up from Pop somewhere in the neighborhood of 11:30 - noon for a 2:20 flight.

I would not count on being done by 11:00. 'Ohana is a character meal, and those can take a while.

Keep watching, I'm sure an early morning spot will open up.

If you run late, remember you can hop a cab from the restaurant to your resort to get ME. Or, you can check your luggage in at your resort, then take a cab to the airport from your ADR.

Guessing that you will be picked up around 11:20 for your flight, you need to be at your resort bus stop by 11:05. Buses do come early, and if you are not there they will leave without you.

If you aren't eating at your resort you will want to be done eating by 10:30 in order to make it back to your resort (earlier for Chef Mickey's because you will need to take the monorail from the resort to Magic Kingdom and catch a bus from Magic Kingdom back to your resort). Same with Ohana, you will probably wait a bit for the monorail and then you can be waiting up to 20 minutes at the park for the bus to your resort and the bus from Magic Kingdom to POP takes about 25 minutes (according to my tour guide from this year). Magical Express picks up around 3 hours before your flight. Our flight left at 3:30-ish and we had to be at the front of our resort by 12:30.

I just looked, the book says 10 minutes to ride the monorail from the Poly to MK and 20 from the Contemporary to MK, though you can walk in 10 (this is because the monorail is heading the opposite direction of MK when leaving the Contemporary). I do not believe these times include the wait for the buses/monorail itself, just the ride time.

If you eat at a resort, there will be no bus directly to POP, so you would have to figure taking a cab, or putting extra time in to get the transport back to a park bus or the TTC. At least with Ohana at the Poly, you could walk to the TTC and get from there back to POP, but a 9:40 ADR will in no way work. You would need to leave the Poly in about 20 minutes, and it is possible if they are running late that you would just be getting seated at the time you needed to leave.

There are no resort buses from TTC. The OP will need to catch their bus at MK or take a taxi back to POP.

Oh that's right, I always think since it is the "travel and transportation center" you should be able to get anywhere from there! So, if you are at a resort, then you have to get a cab or pretty much get yourself back to a park to get a bus from the park back to Pop.

I hear ya! The TTC needs a new name. I guess "Parking Lot, with Monorail Station" isn't too magical
