I have to be honest here, I was not feeling too great last night.. I was trying to get my food shopping done for the holidays..my oldest daughter, Carrie, was helping me.. Lots of traffic, and so we took backroads to get back home.. I had a radio station on with just Christmas music, which was fun.. I was trying not to think of the discomfort I was having..and took some tums and continued to drive.. Not anywhere near what happened in Disneyworld.. so I was ok as far I was concerned.. if it had been bad, I would have gone to the hospital.. but it was unnerving me a bit..

All of sudden on the radio came a song from my childhood.. that brought tears to my eyes.. "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" which I used to love to sing.. I just thought it was terrific.. I said to Carrie I have not heard that song for years.. I think it is a sign.. She said no way.. they are playing Christmas songs 24 hours a day.. they just got to this one. I said ok..The next song was "Let There be Peace of Earth" which was my Mom's favorite, favorite hymn...one that I used at her funeral mass and just one that basically brings my whole family to their knees.. We both looked at each other and said..OMG, it was a sign.. I have to tell you I started feeling better.. you know like someone was watching over me.. I know this sounds sappy but it helped.. I just wanted to share.. Merry Christmas everyone..

Marsha, I am one of those people that feels that things happen in life for a reason. You needed that right then and there...and it made you feel better too. It was not an accident.....I love the the song "Let there be Peace on Earth"..it is one of my all time faves and makes me cry each time.... I am sure you were being watched over...glad you felt better.

I'm another one that truly believes things happen for a reason, and that there are signs all around us, we just have to see them. What a wonderful feeling you must have had when you heard that song. Marsha, I want to chime in and say that I too believe that everything happens for a reason and that there are many signs that happened around us, we just have to be in touch, and listening to receive them.

Well, put me down as one who definitely believes in "signs" as well. You just have to be open to receive them, and then try and figure out what they mean. Obviously, this one wasn't too subtle.
