Is this a mistake?

Just checked the schedule for my trip Sept.4-8th, and noticed that Fantasmic isn't listed for Friday night. Does anyone know if Fantasmic will be shown on the Friday evening as we leave on Sat.?

I had read on the Dis boards that it is usually shown on Fri, Sat and Sun evenings in the off season.

squirrel- I called vacation planning to inquire about riverside seating for F! for our trip at the end of September. I asked the same question, why isn't it scheduled for Friday night? She told me to check back with her after the 1st of September when the calendar is finalized.
Our trip is at the end of September, but I keep checking the DL website's calendar to see if it has popped up yet.

I'm probably the one who misled you, sorry.

It was recently posted on another thread (just below entitled "Fantasmic"), that last year they only showed F! on Sat and Sun during October and half of November. They pick up Fridays in mid-November and continue throughout the holiday season.

However, I just checked the Sept 2006 on laughingplace, and it appears that they did show F! on Fridays at least during the end of Sept.

Thanks, I'll keep checking. Just read the post further down about Fantasmic and it seems like it wasn't shown on Fridays in Sept or Oct last year.

I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope that they change their minds about showing it on Friday evenings! Seems like lots of us would like to see it on Fridays.

How accurate is this laughingplace entertainment calendar anyway? I think I need to find another calendar to back it up.

How about this idea-if people who live near DL could phone (no long distance) and ask for Fantasmic Buffet on Fridays in Sept. and keep calling every so often, maybe they will add Fridays for Fantasmic.

I would say "Good Luck" to the effort. Since Sept and Oct are considered very off season I doubt that they would feel that the financial investment for a Friday show would elicite a return.
We originally were going to go mid Sept and changed our minds back to August just because of these types of scheduling changes and who knows what may be under repair after the summer crowds.

I called yesterday to try to make PS arrangements for Friday, Sept.7. They did inform me that there were no Friday night shows. Luckily, we will be there 10 days so I was able to call back this morning and booked for Sat., Sept. 8.
Whoo-hoo for me! But I can sympathize with the folks who are only there Friday. Guess that's part of the trade off of going in the off season.
