Just quoted a price for $200.00 + tax a night for the Paradise Pier in July, or $225.00 + tax a night for the DL Hotel. Our tentative dates are July 1st-8th. We may shorten this by 2 days, but am not sure yet. I guess what I'm getting at, is this a good rate? Can we do any better by getting a AAA membership? Or last but not least, would it be worth an AP for a possibly better room rate? Thanks for any suggestions or input.

My suggestion would be to try calling the Disneyland hotel direct number and asking for their AP rates...I was told by a CM that they were extending their "Super Sunday" promotion thru the end of the summer now.

We booked a room at DLH for $99/nite (Sunday-Wed)--alittle higher for Friday and Saturday night ($129/nite) Paradise Pier was $79/night!

Keep trying--you will get something better with an AP rate--we don't even have our AP yet--we will buy one before we check in!

Good luck!
Sue:)

Oh, that seems a bit high, but then again that is high season on a popular holiday week. AAA room rates may be available - it is worth asking, and if they say yes, hurry quick and join AAA. AP rates are also worht checkign out - again, you ahve to hav your AP when you check in so they make sure you actually are an Annual Passholder. Be sure to check through Expedia and Travelocity also, they sometimes have deep discounted rooms availlable. But again, that is a premium high season week.
