I have never been to Europe and we are going in Sept flying out of NYC (from Canada but WAY cheaper to go to fly to NYC then to Europe). We are going into London then coming home from Paris. I am looking at flights and he current price on a flight from Paris to NYC (One way/PP) is $503 CDN. Is this a good price? I am not sure if I should way or grab this.

If I look on a local site here I can do it cheapest for 349€/462.579 CAD with Icelandair.

That's taking the 5th of Sept as the date and flying from CDG - NYC

So I 'd say it wasn't a bad fare that you've got there. Which company is it with ?

I looked on expedia.ca and that is with airberlin. Which is the best site for flights from Paris to NYC? My return date is Sept 13

I'm checking on govoyages.com

I don't know if this search will hold but it's showing 349€ also on the 13th still with Icelandair so via Reykjavik

If it doesn't the site is http://www.govoyages.com/

The Airberlin flight is showing at 365€ on this site

Awesome that is about $100 overall cdn cheaper then the one I found so I def may book that. Do you know if I can book being Canadian through this site?

I don't see why not :confused3

It's all e tickets and when I just tried a dummy booking and got to the paiement page you have a roll down menu with all the countries of the world for the billing adress.

There's nothing in the t&cs that says that you have to be a resident in France or anything I could find like that

But this implies a stop in Reykjavík, just checked and it's indirect.
direct flights will be very expensive since it's a one way ticket.

you might get it cheaper doing an open jaw trip and booking both ways at the same time
I priced an open jaw NYC - London via Reykjavík and Paris - NYC via Reykjavík at 587 euros.
On govoyages select "multidestination" to get quotes for open jaw.

I will check the open jaw. I am fine with a stopover those don't bother us.

Their Air Berlin flight is indirect also...goes from Orly to Berlin and then to JFK..at least with Icelandair they are going in the right direction :lmao:

Yeah I figured out that it is only an option on the Paris site. I had clicked on the UK site to see it in English.
What dates were you getting 567 euros cause my dates won't even work lol

What are your dates and how many people and I'll try and see the cost of an open jaw

2 ppl leaving NYC sept 2nd flying to London(looking for a long stopover in Iceland) then flying back to NYC from Paris on Sept 12

has anyone used govolo before? I am seeing a lot of bad reviews for it online so is it trustworthy?

Doing that I don't get the choice of Icelandair ... the 1st price up is US with a stop in PHL at 1272€ for the 2 of you

Then you get AA direct at 1274€ again for 2

If I look directly at Icelandair it would be 1390€ for 2 and you could have a stopover of 16h30 going out

Ok icelandair is about the same as I have been pricing which isn't too bad. The question though about govoyages is can I trust booking through them? I am not sure if you have booked with them before I not. I just saw some things on trip advisor so it has me nervous to book with them.
