Hi There,

I am planning a two week trip in June 2013 and will spend the first three nights in LA near Universal Studios. From Sunday 16th June for eleven nights I have gotten a rate of $1512 including tax, resort fee, parking and free breakfasts for two adults and two children 14 and 12 in the Desert Palms Hotel. Is this a good rate for June or is it better to wait a while before booking?

What are your views of the hotel? I have looked at loads of hotels but this seems to be offering the best price with everthing included.

Thanks for your help.

I can't comment on price, but I have stayed at the Dessert Palms before and will stay again.

It's maybe a 10 minute walk from hotel to turnstiles and you don't have to cross the street since it's on the same side.

The hotel was nice and comfortable and most of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the look and feel of the place.

Thanks Scribble Kity that's reasuring to hear. I think I will go ahead and book this.

Can't wait to travel to Disneyland we are travelling from Ireland and have been to WDW about four times but this is the first time to Calafornia.

Sounds like a good price. I am planning on booking at the RI Maingate for 10 nights at a rate of $1800. I may look into the Desert Palms!!! ::yes:: We are planning the same kind of trip as well :hyper: Where did you book in LA? I have been searching :surfweb: to find a decent hotel at a decent price in a good location!!:worried: We are planning 3 nights in LA as well as 10 nights in Anaheim. We will be driving from Alberta Canada :drive: Our plan is to leave AB June 29 so most of our trip will be in July.
