I'm looking to get a breadmaker and I noticed that Kohl's has the Oster ExpressBake Breadmaker on sale for $59.99 (reg $89.99). There is also a $10 off coupon plus a coupon for 15% off so I'd pay before tax about $42.

It has these features: •Expressbake setting allows you to make 1, 1 1/2 or 2-lb. horizontal loaves with ease.
•Keep-warm feature ensures your bread is heated for 60 minutes after baking.
•18 different settings let you make pasta, jams, pretzels and pizza dough.
•Automatic bake timer provides convenience.
•Cool-Touch™ exterior offers safe use.
•Removable lid and nonstick aluminum bread pan promises quick cleanup.

Does anyone know this breadmaker? It rated 3.5 stars out of 198 feedback on Amazon. Is this a good price for one that is not high end?

What kind of breadmaker do you have?

Hi! I recently decided to get on the bread machine bandwagon again and based on price and reviews, I bought a $55 Sunbeam from Wal Mart. I've had it for about 6 months and it's been bulletproof. We make pizza dough at least once a week and bought a bread machine cookbook so we make quite a few different things with it. Our favorites are Italian Herb bread and cinnamon roll dough. If mine broke today, I would run out and immediately buy the same thing again!

We had a bread machine and it was good. But now we use a Kitchenaid mixer to make bread dough and like it much more.

I looked the sunbeam up on Amazon and saw the reviews so I am leaning that way.

That's what I use currently use but thought that the maker would help since I use the mixer for everything.

My favorite price for a bread machine is $3.00. Our local goodwill always has tons of them and they work fine. Why not get one from there and try it out to see if you'll actually use it before you spend $50 on one.

I thought of that but our Goodwill doesn't carry a lot of appliances but we do have a new Salvation Army so I'll check it out.
