Alrighty, here's the deal: We made ressies for a Sunday night in late August for the California Grill at the Contemporary. Now this is a night where there is EMH at the MK and it is open until 1 am and Wishes starts at 10 pm. Now our plan is to get to our 8 pm ressie at California Grill, take our time eating, then go out on the private deck and watch Wishes (I hear that this is incredible). Then, we plan to go downstairs and take the monorail to MK and spend our night there riding rides. Is this a good idea? Will it work? Thanks a million! :cool1:

Sounds like a solid plan, I dont see any reason why it shouldnt work.

Yes, this should work fine. If you had to use the busses or boats or make a transfer somewhere you would not have much time left at the MK; but since the monorail will whisk you over there right after dinner you should have time to enjoy the Kingdom.

Good planning.

Enjoy.

You can even walk from the Contemporary to MK. We did this most of the time I stayed there as a kid, we didn't have to ride the whole loop then either. :thumbsup2

It's a great idea. I also like the idea of walking there afterward. It does not take as long to walk there as the monorail loop.
