Is this a good deal?

I can book on Airtran for the 3 of us for $530. That is round trip non stop to MCO from MD. It is $79 each way per person. I don't think it will drop any lower but don't remember having to book so far ahead before for travel in October. Does it sound like a good deal?

We also got $79 each way from Airtran for our trip in August. They were the lowest. I really do not know if you will get anything better from Airtran, right now our flights are at $278 each way. Maybe you can wait for Southwest.

Thanks mom! I have gotten Airtran for $49 each way but that was a couple of years ago. I haven't flown to WDW since October so I haven't been paying attention to flight prices and whether one deal is better then the next. I hate SW and would rather pay more to fly Airtran so that isn't even an option. Guess I'll book now before the good deals are gone. Thanks again!

I'd keep watching prices just to be safe, but I don't think you are going to find any better. $79 seems to be about the lowest you ever see.

I signed up for Southwest's Ding program and got $65 each way for July (got $39 on SW in Jan.!) They have more non-stops to MCO than Air Tran. They haven't released their dates for Oct. yet though. I was happy with their service, ect...

I think you are right. I booked last night. Some flights were already starting to increase to $131 each way. I got in at $79 each way and I'm happy!

Thanks Laura but I just can't bring myself to use SW again. I really hate the cattle call ways they do things. You got a great deal though for January I must admit! I always get non stop with Airtran to MCO so that isn't a problem. Have a great trip!

It worked well for us in Jan., I didn't see anything obnoxious, ect. Of course July could be a different story! I guess saving $100 on four tickets is my "Moo" point... I've flown AirTran to MCO alot too and have always had good experiences with them. I checked between the two before I bought and I haven't seen anything on AirTran lately for less than $79 each way, so that's a good price for Oct. We're actually toying with the idea of going in Oct. too... yes, it's a happy sickness, isn't it!?!
