We have an opportunity to go to an after closing party at IOA. 7:30-11pm
$50 per adult, $40 per kid. The price includes a $20 gift card for food/merchandise.
Is this enough time to experience the park? It is a private party for convention vendors, etc.
We haven't been to Universal before, so any advice for this party is appreciated!
Thanks!

Wow, it could be depending on how many other people will be there. Just think not too much waiting. A one day ticket is at least $82 per adult, so with the food credit it does sound like a good deal. Any one else have an opinon?

I think it would depend on how many tickets are sold. If a limited number of tickets are sold, it should be enough time for you to see/ride all you want to. Plus to food/merchandise credit is an added plus! I'd definitely go if I had the chance.

Most likely, all of the rides at IOA won't be working. It will just be a selection. So you will have plenty of time to do the operating rides.

It sounds like we should take the opportunity to go. Yeah! A new park to make a touring plan for :)
Thanks for the input!

I have done a similar thing with a couple of conventions. Unless they are a huge convention (like Pampered Chef which once rented out all of Disney (then) MGM Studios and even fireworks just for them), it will probably be just a section. I bet it won't be Harry Potter (but if it is that's huge YES).

We did Studios - one time we had access to Twister and Mummy I think. Another we did IOA - we had access to all of super hero island (including costumed heroes about for photos).

These events are generally well worth it, even though you only usually get a section of the park.

We just ordered the IOA party tickets!
Harry Potter is supposed to be included :-) otherwise, there isn't an official list of attractions. It would be nice to know so we aren't wasting our time wandering, we have only 3.5 hrs.
For now the plan is go straight to HP! I am assuming we should be early, that it will be like a morning rope drop.
:wizard:Thanks!

It may be just WWoHP if they state that it is included- which is AWESOME! That is the perfect way to enjoy it.
