Please help!!

We're flying from Detroit to LAX (dance competition) and going to Disneyland June 29-July10. I have found a flight, Detroit to LAX for $323 taxes in round trip per person, but I just started looking and have nothing to compare this price to.

Is this a good deal? TIA

seems to be a pretty average price to me, like it would be the going rate for a flight from those two places. if the flight is non stop then i would say that it's a really good deal.

That's probably reasonable since it is peak season summer and very few discounts given at that time. The price is more likely to go up than down. As a comparison I am paying $259 (including taxes) from Chicago to SNA but that is beginning June when some discounts apply. Are you using a search engine like travelocity, expedia, or kayak to compare prices for different airlines? You should also go to individual airline websites because they sometimes offer on-line booking deals not available via the larger search engines plus you will pay a $5 a ticket service charge when booking thru them rather than directly with the airline.

It is a non-stop flight and I am using Kayak to compare fares.

When checking the exact same flights through the airline (Spirit), it is the Kayak fare that is considerably lower; actually, it's a Spirit flight offered through Cheaptickets.com found on Kayak (did I confuse you yet?)

You know how this waiting game goes . . . and I'm just not a good gambler!!

I know it's not a steal, but it seems reasonable.
Any other thoughts on this fare price . . . go for it or wait?
