American Airlines nonstop from St. Louis to Orlando: $607
This is for 3 people roundtrip:
ME
DH
2 year old

Your thoughts? I don't know if I should book this or hold off.... :confused3

We fly out of Indy and we consider $200 round trip to be a good fare, so this looks good to me for 3 people.

It may be possible to do better, but it depends on when you are fly (time of year and day of the week), but that is our guideline: $200 roundtrip.

I'm no airlfare expert, but I usually feel that $200 roundtrip is a fair price. We are paying $224 pp from Milwaukee to Orlando the end of August on NWA.

I actually got the rate from Disney reservations...when I called AA to see what their lowest fare was it was atleast $900 (adults were, I think $369 and the 2 year old would have been atleast 1/2 that).

We are flying out of Indy and got a rate for $188.00 per person, with taxes included. So, I would say the $607 for 3 people is a very good fare. I would go for it. The fares just keep going up anyway! Enjoy your trip! :sunny:

Have you tried running your dates through sidestep.com? They will check a bunch of sites to show you what price and times are available.

I think that is a decent fare. We fly from Chicago and I consider $200 to be a good fare - especially if you like the flight times. If you wait you might find better but the dates and flight times might not work for you. We just paid $208 from Chicago O'hare for September. I'd rather have my flight booked than have to check everyday for something better.

I grab it if it is in the $200 per person mark. If it starts to creep near $250 I wait.

We are flying out of St. Louis (actually MidAmerica Airport, not Lambert) and got a great rate with Allegiant Air for $158 RT per person. We leave in about 3 weeks. Have you checked Allegiant or even USA300 Airlines. I have heard USA 3000 has similiar rates out of St. Louis Lambert.

Definitely grab it. I, too, think that $200RT is a good price. We're flying from Phoenix to Orlando, four of us, for less than $800. It was such a discounted rate on Delta that the kids didn't get an additional discount.
