I had a thought, and I figured I would put it out here to see if it's really a dumb idea or not.

I was thinking of buying an autograph book and asking the DISers that I meet to sign it as a way to remember the Cruise and events....would anyone be willing to sign it for me? Thoughts??????

That would be a good way to gather addresses and people whom you meet.

I would sign your book.

Not at all :goodvibes I think Todd did this last time, I've done something similar in the past at Guide camps, when I was leaving school and at summer camp. It's a lovely memento and helps to strike up conversations :thumbsup2

Save me a page :woohoo:

You all are making me smile....:goodvibes

I did do this for PCC 1.0.

I bought a sketch pad at Tren-D and had an assortment of colored permanent markers. I carried them in my bag everywhere I went and had people sign it. (It was the birth of My Royal Court).

I think it is a fabulous idea!

I know some people will not agree, but it makes more sense (for adults, any way) than getting autographs of Disney characters.

highlight below for "spoiler".

These would be autographs of real people that you really get a chance to know.

Just don't put the words "IOU $" above the signatures ... LOL

With Emma's autograph book, I try to make sure to have the character sign on one side of the book and I tape a photo of her with the character on the other side after we get the pictures back. You may want to do the same with your friends who sign. Adding a picture (as Todd says) makes it "funner". ;)

Oh....I hadn't thought that far yet...grand idea !!! Thanks Jen.

I love the idea :thumbsup2- and was actually planning on doing something similar!
I can't remember names, emails, etc (or much of anything really ;)) anymore- and I admit I need props!
I found a fun, small "journal" kind of book that I am bringing to collect names and ways to connect to my new friends! And like Todd- I love colored pens, etc- it truly does make it funner. :cool1:

I'll sign your book if you'll sign mine! Besides- we almost share the same birthday!
