Is this a completely goofy idea?

While at Lowe's today getting our supplies to decorate our house I picked up a couple of packages of battery powered mini lights thinking that it would be cute to decorate the top of DD's stroller (obviously out of her reach of course) for MVMCP in a couple of weeks. Am I going to look like a total idiot if I do that? Thanks!

Oh no, you're going to look so festive and fun. I need to find me some; I've never had the opportunity to use them. I think your idea is great!

My mom and I wear those when we go to MVMCP. I bet at least one person asks you where they can buy them!

Where can you get battery powered lights? WHAT A GREAT IDEA! I will be going to WDW in 8 1/2 days...those would be GREAT!!!! :thumbsup2

Check Michael's crafts. I've purchased them there in the past. They may or may not be with holiday items. Look in the wood crafts, floral, or minatures sections too.

THATS A GREAT IDEA GO DURING THE FILMING OF THE PARADE AND MAYBE YOULL BE ON TV :santa:

Whew! I'm so glad someone else thinks it's a great idea!!! I got them at Lowe's for 97 cents if anyone wants to join me!

Yeah!!! I'm not the only one out there! :rotfl2: Last year I had lights on our jogger at the Very Merry Christmas Party and recieved lots of compliments. It made it very easy to spot our stroller during the exit crowds AND after the cast members rearranged strollers while we were on a ride :rotfl: I found red flashing LED battery lights for next week at Disneyland. Don't forget clothespins for attaching them to the sun shade and extra batteries! :cool1: Have Fun!!

I'm leaving tomorrow and found these little rice lights at Big Lots for $3.00 (8' strand) - they take 4 AA batteries and the batteries lasted strong for 12 hours. They are bright enough to see, but not so bright that they would bother anyone near us. I put the battery pack in the bottom basket of the stroller and wound them around the frame and up over the sun shade - DGrD (3) LOVED them!!! I packed extra batteries so I can use them every night we're out - especially for MVMCP - will make it easy to find the stroller in the dark after Fantasmic, too!! :smooth: - if I see any other stroller lights, I'll be looking for lime-green Mickey's, too! ;)

I found mine at....
Target in the dollar spot area .. $2.50 a packagefor the rice type.
Bought LED ones (clear or multicolored) at Walgreen's.. freebie for me thanks to multiple gift cards from rebate deals.

Using them on mini Christmas Tree in my hotel room while at DL. (HoJo's)
If we get a room with a balcony I might string them there as well.

Yeah! Great idea! DH is going to Lowes today to get lights for the house. I'll add this to his list (he'll roll his eyes)! One more thing for Disney!
