Is there wheelchair seating in dining package show sections?

What type of wheelchair/handicap seating is available in the show sections reserved for those with the various dining packages?

Is it a good value or are wheelchairs not even allowed at all inside the dining package show sections or lines, with guests in wheelchairs directed to the general-admission wheelchair viewing locations (was told on the phone by a CM that this is how World of Color seating works despite it not being listed as not wheelchair accessible on their website)?

I'm also interested if anyone knows about wheelchair seating for World of Color and Fantasmic in Disneyland, CA too.

I know that Fantasmic at DHS has wheelchair seating at the top of the dining package section. That’s the only package we’ve done.

Enjoy your vacation!

I can't speak for Fantasmic, but I seem to remember being seated relatively close to the front at the Candlelight Processional.

I don’t know specifically about California, but the WDW dining packages do.

Fantasmic Dining package seating areas go from the bottom row (closest to the stage) to the top row. The top row of the entire theater is accessible seating. If all of the accessible spaces in the Dining package area are full, you could be sent to the regular accessible seating (also the top row) or you could choose to transfer to a seat and the wheelchair/ECV will be parked in a nearby area.

Rivers of Light Dining Package has wheelchair seating; if it’s full, you could be sent to the non-Dining package accessible seating area or transfer to a seat with your ECV/wheelchair parked nearby.

Candlelight Processional has Dining package accessible seating near the stage, but more limited in number than either of the others (Fantasmic & ROL are huge theaters - the American theater area is very small.
If all the accessible spaces are filled, I’m pretty sure you would have the option to transfer to a seat and have your wheelchair/ECV parked (not sure if close by because aisles are used for the processional). I believe you could also be sent to the general accessible seating, which is the top row.
Hopefully someone else can give more complete information.

This was our experience last November:

River of Light dining package area used the accessible seating in both the very front and in the very back row of the specific dining package section. You have to get there really early for the front though. We were allowed one companion. Same with Fantasmic - very front or very back. We were usually in the back for both.

Candlelight Processional dining package area (and I assume Eat to the Beat and Garden Rocks) includes the wheelchair area that is about five rows back from the stage and the area that’s back further about mid-theater. And, again, to get the closer seating still requires you to be in line pretty early. It fills up quickly. We saw it from both spots and actually preferred being further back for Candlelight Processional. The sound was better (although I wouldn’t have minded being a little closer to John Stamos 😄).

In terms of it being a good value I have mixed feelings. For Candlelight Processional, yes, I’d still do it, especially for popular narrators and/or weekends. You might not get in at all otherwise. But for F! and RoL, maybe not as much value. You’ll probably end up in the back row anyway and it’s usually not too difficult to find a day-of fastpass for either of those. With a fastpass you’ll still probably be in the back but just in a different section is all. That said, we’d probably consider doing it again because we like to eat at Tusker House and Yak & Yeti anyway, although I’ve heard the price of the dining package has gone up. That might give me pause.

Disneyland World of Color has a designated disabled viewing spot for wheelchairs and ECVs. It is located right in front and slightly lower than the World of Color dessert party seating. There are also benches available for disabled guests who are not using mobility devices. The benches seem to fill up faster, so I would advise showing up early if you would like to use the benches.
