Is there usually a discount for December?

I know that it is low season, but I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are usually deals like free dining or room only discounts for the beginning of December? I love going this time of year and would like to book a new trip. If there are discounts, when are they announced? Thanks for the help!

Sometimes, but I often see the dates of the Pop Warner (youth football) playoff blacked out on the promotions. The dates this year are 12/4-11.

Disney has announced that starting this fall they are scaling back on the discounts. Free dining was only offered to the general public one time last year for Oct-Dec dates. The year before that it was offered on selected weeks Oct thru Dec to Disney Visa card holders. And of course there are those notorious PIN codes!

So if I were to go Dec 2- 8th, would I be able to, if a discount is available, would I be able to get it for the entire stay? Will it be busy for the youth football thing?

I got a pin in my son's name for a room discount for dates up until 12/24. He is gone and wont be joining me so I am looking for a public discount for the week before xmas. I just learned today that at my new job they are on shut down the week of xmas- yea for me. I bet they will offer something.

No!!! Don't scale back in the fall Disney! That's when we need it!

I received a pin code for free dining for most dates Oct 3 Thru Dec 24. Just booked Dec 8 - 20 POFQ yest with that code
