I'm trying to match up my quote from Disney CM with what I'm calculating myself. Maybe the difference is tax on the cost of the dining plan?

I've got 7 nights at CSR - standard room, during peak season (2/23 - 3/1/08), 2 adults and 1 child for 8-day park hoppers, and the basic dining plan.

I get:

$1,510.88 for the room (incl. tax, 2 weekend rate nights (@$199), 5 weekday rate nights (@$189))
$811.53 for the tickets (incl. tax)
$601.79 for the dining plan (is there tax on this??)
$2,924.20 TOTAL

My confirmation from Disney has the total as $3,047.53.

What am I missing??

There isn't tax on the dining plan. Just make sure that you are adding 12.5% tax on your room and 6.5% on your tickets.

Then make sure your quote from the CM didn't include travel insurance.

Just checked with a CM. They did add travel insurance. That really irritates me -- travel insurance was never discussed when I was making my reservation (and it does not show up in my email confirmation). Imagine how many people never ask about the components and just pay the extra money!

:rolleyes1 They did it to me too. I had 2 different reservations for 2 different hotels that accure one after another, and they charged me twice without asking!:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: Instead of a upgrade, I got an upsell!
very sneaky indee:headache: d.
