Is there something for Fast Passes like Dining Reservations..

For people who want dining reservations there are those sites you can sign up for that will alert you if someone drops a reservation and on the boards where you can coordinate with someone to get a dining reservation. Is there anything like that for Fast Passes? I've been trying to get FOP and so far no luck. Was just wondering if there is a place like that where people could post they are dropping a fast pass so you could try and pick it up.

If there isn't, could we create one on here? Or would that be against the rules?

The Dibb is a UK based forum that used to post FP availability in a chart per month, but since certain changes were made to the system, they no longer do that. I don't think there is another site that does.

Hmm, I kind of figured it would be hard to coordinate because it can change so frequently. But just knowing someone was dropping a fast pass I needed would help narrow down my search. I've become a little hopeless figuring I'll never get a FOP FP

That's a very possible reality you should plan for. It's a brand new land/ride so it's going to be tough to get into for a while.

I have been, any free moment I go through and check. It was just a little discouraging since at my 60 days I couldn't get anything because I'll only be there for three days.

When you were checking did you have a fast pass and you were modifying it or you had nothing and were looking at a brand new fast pass?

We just booked this past week a very last minute trip so I had nothing. I was looking for 2 FP+.

I currently have 3 FP's for that day, so I just try and modify, but maybe it's the fact that I'm looking for 4 that makes it so much harder---> IDK?

I'll be there the same time as you. I have 46 days to go. I'm going to keep checking, I don't want to give up the other fast passes I have in hopes of getting this one so I'll just keep trying to modify. I'm wondering maybe the day of it'll be easier to find something.

I arrive on that Saturday, and I'm going to AK at around 1:30 or 2..Depending on what time DME gets me to our resort.... Is that the day you're going, because it may be busy that day...AK is open late.

I Arrive on Friday late, have a three hour drive up after work. Was hoping to get to Animal Kingdom that night for one ride and then we are going back the next day. We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge so for this short trip it made sense to go so often to that park. There was a 6pm Fast Pass for FOP that Sunday when I was looking, but we are probably going to be driving home around 5 so I couldn't take that. I think Animal Kingdom has late hours every day.

With respect to coordinating a drop/add:

Sometimes when you drop a FP, it does not ever enter back into the public FP pool. I don't understand why this happens, but I have tested it many times and less than 50% of the time do the FPs enter back into the pool. And that isn't day of, so it's unlikely someone is quickly snatching them. Thus, I don't think coordinating drop/add will ever really work. You could always link MDEs, but don't want to do that with strangers!

A FP finder (like TP's reservation finder) would be super cool. I imagine the database searching is a LOT more difficult, since you'd need to log in and have it search using a ticketed MDE profile... dining reservations are much easier.

I think it might be only updated through that Saturday, I'm not sure I haven't checked the times in a while.

I'm thinking there might be more of a chance to get a FP on my drive up. I'll be stuck in a car for three hours so I can just keep hitting refresh over and over lol

I did this for my daughter and her friends for her trip coming up. It's not FoP, but looking for 7DMT about 3 1/2 weeks out.

My strategy is not to find them as a group, but to make sure everyone has one, the times might be scattered all over the place (found 2 at 5:40, 1 at 6:15, 1 at 8:30).

Then I keep trying up modify the odd fastpasses by walking their time backwards, sometimes I find a good hour jump backwards, sometimes it's a modest 5 minutes, regardless, I keep snagging them up.

If the FPs end up matching their timing, Disney will actually absorb the parties into a bigger one. So you have 2 people with a 5:40 fastpass, and a single turns into a 5:40 for the same ride, MDE will turn it into a party of 3.

If you end to with a 5:40 and a 6:05, that's not bad. With that hour window per pass, everyone can get there from 6:05-6:40 and ride at the same time. With the grace period, it might be even longer.

Now it you can't even find any, then Disney might have a load issue with FoP.

I tried searching for just one of us at a time and nothing has come up so far. My boyfriend doesn't want me to keep doing this in case I only get one of us a fast pass for it. He said he won't ride it without me.
