Is there really a walkway between ToT and Bugs Land now?

I just read this here http://micechat.com/forums/disneyla...-california-adventure-project-tracker-ix.html I haven't heard anything about this but that will be so great! So many times we make that trek from Screamin' to ToT and this will hopefully cut quite a bit of walking off. Can anyone confirm? What do you think?

We used it many times last week. The only problem would be if I still had small kids. Bugs land is really busy now with the walk through visitors. The ride lines are still light, but there are many more people there!

Yay! That's awesome. Is there a noticeable difference in the walk time now between the Paradise Pier area and ToT?

Yes it's there but there was another thread that stated that it would be closed April - August (forgot the exact dates). They're closing it in order to make it a permanent path.

Yes it's great! No more deadend and backtracking it's not really faster to PP it's just if you are already at ToT you don't have to go back the way you came. Or if you have to stop at bugsland you can get at ToT quickly

So they are closing it during peak times? When the parks are busy for summer? This makes no sense at all. I guess I will prep myself to make the long walk around.

It is closing April 18, I believe, because it's right before our trip on April 20.

That's exactly what I thought. I'm happy they're making it permanent but it does seem odd that they're closing it all summer.

Yah, but of course it has never been open before now so it is not like it is a huge drawback from previous years to have it closed.

I know, but I've been spoiled already just from the 2 days i've used the path. I love it!

ToT FP closing is another reason why their dates for this are kind of odd. I would think they would want FP up and running during the summer. But personally, i never ride ToT so it won't be a problem for me.

It seems odd, but I'm sure it's all in the big scheme of the re-do..I think I keep seeing they are working on laying track for the trolley..so this probably goes with that..didn't they open it to begin with because areas were blocked due to trolley work? Anyway..this will be a whole new park soon
