Is there life after turning 40?

I'm 40 (turning 41 in March), and I like it just fine. It didn't bother me at all turning 40. I'm much calmer about things, and I'm very comfortable in my own skin. I definitely feel more "fabulous" now than I did in my 20's and 30's. That's just a result of contentment and knowing my own mind and not really caring what anyone else thinks.

Just wait until you are old enough to retire - that's when the fun really begins.
