Is there laundry at Pop?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if Pop Century has a laundry room anywhere? We're just going for a quick trip and are concerned about packing light. I see rain in the forecast and was just wondering if Pop Century had a laundry room just in case we need it (which hopefully we won't!).

Hi EsmereldaX. I believe there is a laundry room at the Pop. I haven't been there yet myself but have been reading up on it because we are going to stay there in February. I believe someone mentioned it was located near one of the pools. Hopefully someone will be here soon to let you know for sure where it is located. Have a great trip!

there sure is! there are laundry facilities near each of the three pools (50s, 60s, 90s) with both washers and dryers that are coin-operated... there are coin machines (50s section were out of order when we were there in sept, so you may want to bring your own just in case) as well as detergent machines (we also brought our own as it's over-priced, but that's to be expected!)... and be prepared to run the dryer twice as they don't seem to dry very well the first time...

Yes, there are laundry rooms. We were in 60's A and the closest for us was in the same building as Petals, the pool bar. I believe there is also one in the 50's section next to the bowling pin pool. I'm sure there must be one over the the 80's/90's section, probably by the Computer pool. It's $2 for a washer and $2 for a dryer. You can buy soap and I think Bounce for $1 out of a vending machine. I found the machines easy to use and people were very conscientious about unloading them shortly after they were done using them so I don't think I ever waited more than 5 minutes for an empty machine.

Just remember to have your room key with you as you will need it to get into the laundry rooms. I forgot once and had to ask someone stitting by the pool to let me in.
