Is there just not much call for Mickey any more?

I want to do our upstairs bathroom in a Mickey theme. I can't find much out there for *Mickey*. I liked the scattered Mickey stuff, but they only have bits and pieces of it still available. I can't find anything else Mickey for the bathroom. In particular I want the shower curtain and bath mats. Walmart didn't have any, Disneystore online doesn't have any, any other suggestions? Anyone been to the Disney Home (or whatever it's called) store in DTD recently?

I got the shower curtain and toothbrush, etc. stuff.
DH is supposed to make me wall hangings to match....someday
I lvoe it. then I got red towels and a set of balck towels. Look pretty good.

I've done a search on the internet before, putting in Mickey Mouse or Mickey Mouse bathroom, and some places that sell stuff have popped up. Its worth a try.

You could call WDW merchandising... I saw some of this at World of Disney... and that bath and home place in DD

DTD is definitely the place to look. You might also check stores that sell bathroom sinks and fixtures. I saw some cool Disney stuff at a home show a while back(like hot/cold controls shaped like Mickey). They might have some of the accessories too.

We just finished our kitchen in Scattered Mickey! Couldn't find what we were looking for so we made our own! WalMart had the Disney Print Creations Collection 1 bundled with the Winnie the Pooh Print Creations (jewel case, not big box) for $9.53! They have the hands, feet, & shorts and we cropped an image for the ears.
We printed out the images so that they were 4X4 and laminated them (got the laminating machine a while ago at K Mart for about $45) and spray painted popicle sticks red, yellow, blue & black & made frames for them. We alternated colors with the pieces and attached them to the front of our plant shelf.

I know what you mean!! I've been looking for mickey stuff for the nursery and EVERYTHING is pooh! Ugh! I'm sick of pooh! There is a lion king nursery, but I really wanted mickey and the gang. And I WILL NOT give in and go with pooh! We're going to WDW in about a month so I'm hoping to find something there.

I'm almost postive in last disney catalog I saw a bunch of mickey bathroom stuff. another idea is try linens and things.

There have been some great suggestions so far. I also know that when we were at the CR 2 weeks ago they had some bathroom accessories at the main gift store. In September, DTD had quite a few things at World of Disney and the Disney home store. We almost got stuff to redo our bathroom, but we decided against it (but we'll be redoing it to Mickey this year!).

Another place we find a lot of Mickey stuff here in TN is at Target. DH got me a great set of Michael Graves/Mickey Mouse bookends for Christmas from there. I've never shopped Target.com, but that might work if you don't have a Target nearby.

Have you tried e-bay? I bought a great Mickey fabric shower curtain on e-bay. Since there were no accessories to go with it, I took it to Office Max, and made color photo copies of the curtain itself, then decoupaged (sp?) the tissue holder, toothbrush holder and the switchplate cover to match. It worked great!

Well, I've tried the Disney Store (yeah, you're going to find non-kid's stuff at the Disney Store now? ), Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, two Walmarts, and the Disneystore online. They had some stuff online, but not what I wanted.

tsobb -- I like what you ended up doing. That's a good idea!

I've toyed with getting a plain shower curtain and making my *own* stuff to put on it, but how do you put something on a shower curtain or bath mat without ruining them?

Haven't tried ebay, I'll check them out.

I did try a search with "Mickey Mouse Bath" or "bathroom" but didn't find what I wanted with that search, either.

I can find several bed comforters or pillows, but I don't need those, either...
