And I am not sure how exactly to go about it. (Open to suggestions. )
But first I was just curious if everyone would rather stick to the Disney pin exchanges as they curremtly are. Or maybe have people post what pin or pins they have and what they are looking for.
We could even have a Who Wants This Rusty Nail pin thread? :rotfl: Meaning it's an extra pin you bought thinking it would be a great trader and it just a dust collector. (Holy Grail vs Rusty Nail)

I don't mind everyone doing ongoing pin trading....BUT I still want to do the pin exchange. I like the surprise of not knowing what is coming :)

Oh yes. That would be in addition to.
I just thought this might work out say for example if someone was trying to complete a set or looking for a specific pin and wanted to offer something up for a trade.

::yes::

So....how about you? What are you looking for that you don't already have? :rotfl:

Oh you would be surprised! :rotfl:
:lmao:
I am just getting tired of looking at some of my traders! :rotfl:

I think this could be fun. We honestly don't know what is a keeper and what should be a trader other than that we should keep the hidden Mickey ones. But we would be happy to help others out if we have what they need.

Well, shucky darn. No interest really except maybe two of us, max. Y'awl just aren't addicted enough (yet). :lmao: I just have to spend more time in the parks (once the summer heat has diminshed somewhat ;) ).

Well, as much park time for us as you get ;)
Not sure if my collection has anything anyone is interested in.
I am going on a cruise in May.....if anyone wants any pins, I sure am willing to shop :rotfl:

We went to Epcot last night and I bought :rolleyes1 :sad2: some pins and I traded some too. Last night was one of those nights where I traded onto the lanyards better than what I traded off. :rotfl2: And ends up one pin I already had -- Pin 47946: Disney Store -- The Rocketeer.
That's the good thing about pins. You get one you don't like or need, you trade it off.
I also BOUGHT (drum roll)
Pin 56143: WDW - Storybook Jumbo - The Haunted Mansion (Donald Duck)
:woohoo:
And I bought one set of the LE PotC character mystery pin set. Had I realized the 4-pin set was $25 I would not have. But obviously I somehow managed to justify to myself to keep keep it. ;)

Also watched Illuminations, and drove behind MK and watched Wishes. With the wind blowing north, they were right in front of us. Almost on top of us.

You could do a send me a pin swap. This works by the person posting sends a pin to the poster above them and so on and so on. I would only keep an individual thread going for so long though just to keep track. This would keep the surprize of not knowing what you're getting. Or another way to do this is to have a poster list the pins they have up for trade (sometimes on a theme sometimes not) and the next poster "claims" that pin then posts pins of their own. Again, I would keep these threads to a specific number to make sure things don't get lost in the suffle.
