Is there going to be a WDW FREE Dining Plan this year?

It seems like a lot of people are waiting to make their plans based on the free dining.

Free Dining has been a brilliant plan on the part of Disney to fill the parks with crowds during what was previously their slowest season, and hurrican season to boot. And then having the bounceback for free food while the free diners are there in the parks, on their Disney high, well I would call that pure marketing genius. We were there for Free Dining last year, and yes we did have fun, but we went for low crowds and there was definetly NOT low crowds during the week of Sept. 14 - 22. I personally don't see Free Dining ending anytime in the near future because it has just been too good for Disney's bottomline and Disney will always do what is best for their bottom line.

It was announced this morning. Booking dates are 4/08-6/08 with travel dates of 8/08-9/08.

Please can you explain the term "bounceback"? I have seen it mentioned a few times but do not understand the term. Thanks

A bounceback is when you book a Disney vacation for the following year when you are staying on site. We stayed at CBR in Aug, 2015 and got a bounceback for CBR for Aug, 2016 for 8/26 thru 9/5 with free dining. You can only book while you are at the resort vacationing.
