Isn't that the truth! I avoid the political threads now. It was difficult in the beginning. After getting too frustrated, I was able to stay away from them. No problem now.

Esmeralda...Monty Dog posts are good! I enjoy reading those. Makes me laugh. I've never seen you post anything mean either. Can't believe someone picked on Monty Dog.

No, not really. The boards move so fast, that after a while, it'll be gone. Granted, some posts keep coming back, but I just skim past them and don't open them. I just roll my eyes to myself and move on.

Some times I want to jump into a thread and say something, but I've learned it's best to just keep my mouth shut if I don't have something constructive to add...(on the internet and in real life! LOL!)

Enough already. I am sure there are political boards out there that they can go to. I have also noticed that most of the people who start these aren't regular posters to the other "Park" related boards.

IMHO, I am glad they got rid of the debate board.

LOL! I doubt it. Not offensive, just that it's a place I don't like to go emotionally and it bothers me to see it. I don't know...maybe I'm having weird hormonal levels the last couple days.

Well, the "fluff" threads irritate me, but I just ignore them. Also, the animal threads are about the dumbest...so I don't open them-(Why waste my time), but you're right Pin Wizard-I wish I didn't even have to see them.

Seriously, maybe because I've been here a while, it's usually easy to ignore the threads that I have no interest in or that look unpleasant. I don't mind political threads because they can be interesting.

I will sometimes eye a title with an apparent sad post, because I just don't want to be sad. I usually get the nerve to open and respond though. sometimes I am afraid that I would ignore them, however.

I just ignore the politics anymore. It seems there isn't anything new to add to them!

I like politics, so it's hard for me to not read those threads. But they always end up with a handful of people trying to convince each other that they are wrong. And it can get nasty. But the threads I really don't like are usually on the restaurant board. They usually have a title along the lines of "Convince me why I should eat here". Why would I want to waste my time convincing someone of anything? I couldn't care less if they eat "there". Can't they make up their own minds? Ok, so it's a pet peeve of mine, sorry I began to rant.
