Is there enough to do at Magic Mountain for a 6 and 7 year old?

My son has loved MM every time we went, and we started when he was 4. But then again, he's a dare devil and really tall. So at 4 he was already able to go on many of the coasters. Plus they do have a big kid's area for smaller kids.

I think it really depends on the children. If they are over 48 inches, then there are plenty of rides for them to enjoy. But if they don't like coasters, then there's not much.

I haven't been to MM and I don't have kids, but I'll pass on what I heard. Legoland is the PERFECT place for kids in that age group HOWEVER, it's HORRIBLY DULL for adults. If you want to do a "Dumbo-in-a-day-or-die" routine (aka just go for the kids), the I would suggest Legoland. Carlsbad is also BEAUTIFUL this time of year! YOu can visit the flower fields and/or the beach as well. They are 5-10 minutes from LegoLand.

Yeah, I think its more about their height and willingness to go on the big coasters that makes the difference.

It all depends on how tall they are and if they're scared of roller coasters really.

LegoLand is the best theme park for pre-school aged kids.
It doesn't have many rides for school aged kids, but there are a few.
LegoLand is somewhat educational.
Personally I like LegoLand, but I don't like thrill rides, and love Lego; therefore my view is very biased.

After DisneyLand, LegoLand can seem boring, if one wants fantasy and thrills.

If your kids are major Lego fans (they still spend lots of time playing with Lego) they may like LegoLand better.

Adults who appreciate the creativity and intricacy of the Lego toy can be fascinated with LegoLand.
