Is there enough time?

I am flying into LA for business and will be arriving at LAX around 1:30 on Sunday. Is it reasonable to try to drive to DL and be back at the hotel (near LAX) by 10:00 or so? I realize the parks are open until 10:00 or midnight, but I have to be at work at 6:00 on Monday.

Would it be worth it to drive there and back?
How long would the drive take?
Is the traffic really bad?
Is this worth it?

Hmm, that is a tough one! I guess it depends on how much time you think would make it worth it. You could probably get 5 hours or so of park time in. Traffic won't be AS bad because its a Sunday, but you never know in the LA area, it is just nuts. I probably wouldn't plan on it, just because your flight could get delayed, etc. Can you stay an extra day? Good luck!

The drive is about 40 minutes in good traffic.

I'd do it. Arriving on Sunday when traffic is heavy but not jammed up you should be able to get there and back easily. Also since it's not a travel day like Monday hopefully land on time and out of the airport quick.
