One of our favorite treats at WDW is Dole Whip and we are going to Disneyland for the first time in 20+ in Jan...just wondering if we can get Dole Whip anywhere there? Thanks!
Make sure you actually walk INTO the waiting area for the Tiki Room (past the turnstile) as there is a second MUCH SHORTER line on the back of the Dole Whip stand for guests waiting for the Tiki Room. The turnstile does "reverse" so you can walk out after you get one. This was the BEST tip I learned here on DISBoards and saved me a good 20 minutes (the length of the regular line when I was there last month)!

This is a very valuable tip! The wait for Dole Whip is so long that my wife's mousewait app shows wait times for a Dole Whip just like it does for attractions.
Yes, they have Dole Whip at DLR as the PPs have said, however, I can't quite explain it, but there was something subtley different about the taste/texture of the two. I really love the Dole Whip at WDW, but didn't love it at DLR.
Yay!! Thank you all so much!! We are really looking forward to this trip and that will be one more bright spot to look forward to!! Also thanks for the tip on the shorter line! That will be very good to know!
I think it has to do with humidity. Anaheim is not as humid as Orlando. All ice cream treats are hard frozen, it takes forever for them to soften up enough in Anaheim to eat. In Orlando, I can't eat them fast enough before they are a melted mess. The Dole Whips may be affected the same way.
One thing we were dissapointed with at WDW is that you are not allowed to take any food or drink into the Tiki Room. It is a DL tradition for us to eat our Dole Whips while we hear the birds sing. Another reminder for going INTO the Tiki Room waiting area to get your treat. There is rarely a line if any
