If so, how does it work? We'll be going w/5 and 2 yo...5 yr old will go on it but 2 yo can't. Do we all wait in line, when/where do we swap the 2yo?

When I went last November my husband went on the ride(we had a fast pass). If you dont go up to the fast pass guy and tell him you are doign the sawp he will give you a fst pass ticket. I waited with my 2 year old at the exit to the ride. Once your spouse comes out you get in the fast pass line
with the ticket you got from the attendant. Your older shild can ride it woth you again. just tell the attendant you did the swap. then you wait in the fast pass line to ride the ride.
SIDE NOTE *When I say exit I mean the area to the right of the line to get on the ride. I and others made the mistake of interpreting exit as the door they come out(which is quite a hike with a toddler) of but came to find out Soarin takes place in 2 theatres*so you need to just wait in that area to find your spouse.

You don't all have to wait in line. They'll give you a kid swap pass, and two of you can get in line, while the other stays with your 2yo. There isn't a lot for the little kids to do near the exit, but at least it's all indoors, in case it's hot or raining. Depending on how long the line is, you could take your 2 yo over to the food court or see the conservation movie or ride "Living with the Land." When the riders exit (it seems to me it was right next to the entrance?), you swap the toddler and use your pass to go back up through the fast pass entrance. Have fun!

Just beware that strollers are not allowed in the Land Pavillion, unless they have changed the policy in the past few months.

are there other places that you can't bring strollers? That would be a bummer having to miss out because we have a stroller with us :(

There's a really nice sitting area to the right of the entrance. It gave my 2 year old a chance to walk around while we waited for the rest of our party. It's also where the FastPass Distribution machines are...which my sweet boy thought were candy machines...he kept trying to put his quarter into the machines :confused3 .. The CMs were NOT amused :rolleyes1

We were just there and strollers are still not permitted in the Land. I would say that is because they have a space problem. It does make it difficult to deal with a sleeping infant.

If you child swap 1st thing in the am when the Land ride doesn't have a line it takes about the same amount of time to ride the Land as does someone riding Soarin'. That is a great place to "wait" giving you and the child something to do. The exit for the Land is also very close to Soarin' which also makes it convenient. We also did this using a FP for Soarin' and the Land.
