Is there Anywhere on WDW property with free WIFI? I hate to spend the $10 a day at All Star Music they charge you just to check my e mail. Thanks

I haven't found any place to check it, but if you pay the $10 its good for 24 hours so if you time it right you can get 2 days out of the $10.

No "free" WIFI at Disney. If you have wireless modem with your cell phone it would be "free" technically but you are paying for using it through your wireless company.

disney quest has computers hooked up to wifi if you are heading there

I have been looking this up myself recently.

I found the World of Sports area has free WiFi - but who the heck wants to go there to check email!

I talked to my employer about covering cost while I was there to stay connected at work - he said while he was down there someone must have had an unsecure connection in his hotel - cuz he just hopped on their connection - but of course you can't plan on that!

I have recently heard that it is free for DVC members, but I am not sure if that's true. :confused3

It is free for DVC members staying on points at a DVC resort. It was nice to take my laptop and be able to check mail, etc. without having to pay the $10 per day. If you get this "perk", be sure to check your bill when you check out - I was charged for three of the five days I stayed at OKW and had to call the front desk to get it taken off my bill.

Also, it's not wireless - there is an ethernet cable in the closet that you use. Some people have reported bringing their own router to set up a wireless ability within the DVC unit - but that seems like too much work for me, since I can use my Iphone to go online if I need to have it while I'm still in bed!!!!

We stayed at SSR- over in the farthest group of buildings from the lobby. We were closest to Downtown Disney.
We were picking up an offsite hotel's wifi. I'm not sure where it was from- but I opened my Mac Book and it asked me if I wanted to join an open network- and I said yes! We had free internet our entire stay.
It was nice to say the least.

This is great news - I was toying with bringing my laptop or not for our trip on Tuesday - and since I'll be at the Villas, using my points, I guess I will be getting free internet! I hope this still applies!
