Is there anyway to know if they will be doing fireworks on the weekdays when I am there?

I'm tentatively planning a trip on the 8th-12th of April but might bump it up to Sunday, the 7th, because I really want to see Wondrous Journeys.

Is there any way to know ahead of time what they consider "peak" and when they'll be doing fireworks during the week? Trying to skip the majority of spring break crowds but also would love to watch Wondrous Journeys multiple times.

Nah, only peak season. Summer, Christmas time and spring break. The question here is how far into April will the spring break schedule continue. Unfortunately, it's too soon to tell, but I would be surprised if it extended more than one week past Easter.

both fantasmic (when it's running) and fireworks during off-peak seasons will only happen on weekends.

World of Color is typically every day (sometimes twice a day during peak).

The only way to know for sure is to check the disneyland schedule calendar, but that is not always updated consistently, and doesn't go too far in the future.- I.e. just because the calendar lists your day with no fireworks, doesn't mean that fireworks won't be added to your day a few days later.

Wondrous journeys is only playing during spring break season and will have fireworks nightly.

I went back and looked at the announcement they made about Wonderous Journeys on facebook. It says Mar 22- Apr 14. It doesn’t say anything about “select nights” which makes me think it will be everyday during that timeframe.

Highly recommended, it's my favorite show. Get's better with repeated viewings, so might be worthwhile to watch on YouTube in advance.

What is considered summer at DL? We are planning to be there mid Aug after pass blackouts lift and are trying to figure out if we should stay for the weekend.

What is considered summer at DL? We are planning to be there mid Aug after pass blackouts lift and are trying to figure out if we should stay for the weekend.

I would expect daily fireworks in mid August. They usually run daily through Labor Day, but with Halloween time starting earlier this year, I’m not sure what that transition will look like as far as entertainment goes.

Usually summer is considered Memorial Day to Labor Day for entertainment purposes.
