Is there anyway to check what IS available?

Back in December when I was booking our last trip, on the online dining ressie website, if something was not available it would come up with other restaurants that WERE available for you to book instead. Is there anywhere we can have that info? Or is it gone forever?

On the search screen. Put in whatever details you want (i.e. park is what I usually use) and the date, time, number in party and you'll get available choices.

If you just put in the date and exp: Dinner It will show yo everything available for that date I think between 4 and 11, same for breakfast and lunch

The easiest way to do it..is just put in your date and time..and dont select any other details. If you are using the dining plan, check the "only show rest. participating in the dining plan" box. Then it will give you a complete list of everything that has availability. If nothing you want..just click "edit this search" and select a different time.
