do you mean people who went in Sept 07 and get offered a free dining bounceback offer OR do you mean...do people who go in September always get offered free dining? If you went in 9/07 (and 9/06 for that matter) you were offered a bounceback offer to come back the following Sept and get free dining if you put a deposit down on the room BEFORE leaving Disney. On top of that, the past 3 years, Disney has offered (as a general public discount) free dining for Sept. You do have to know about the offer and ask Disney for it. We met plenty of people during the past 3 years who had NO CLUE they could have gotten free dining. This offer typically is announced in April. Hope that helps

We went for 8 days in Sept. 2007 for free dining, but while there, never received the bounceback offer for 2008. DD arrived one night earlier than DH and me, and she got the bounceback offer during her one night at another resort! Go figure!

The trick is to check these boards and KNOW that they are offering a bounceback. Two years ago, the flyer was not in my room but I knew about it from here and checked at the front desk. This year, the flyer was in my room.

The Deposit was $200...same as any package deposit.

we've been the last 2 years for free dining but never saw a bounceback offer - I knew from the boards that there was one out there, but for us a year is too far to schedule a regular vacation.

We did not have the flyer in our room, but knew about it from the DIS so we went to the front desk and they gave us the flyer! $200 deposit was required.

we were there last year during the free dining and didn't know anything about it...we had 6 rooms!

When I got home i tried to call and get it, but they wouldn't budge saying we must have missed the flyer in our room, 17 of us? I don't think so....so now we are just waiting for some sort of special, of any kind, but I haven't seen anything since last year.
