Is there any way to "split purchase" a contract?

The wife and I are really looking for a 25-50 point add on contract at SSR or OKW with a June use year. After watching the listings at both popular resellers' websites for 8 months, I have really yet to find what I am looking for.

Is is at all possible to join in with another DVC member, purchase a 100 point contract and somehow turn that into two 50 point contracts? Does disney allow this?

No. Resale contracts cannot be split.

Don't watch the listings, get on their email and call lists. Often those hard to find contracts never make it to the website.

Thanks for the response. I didn't think you could, but I figured it was worth asking about. I am on the email lists already...and have talked to salespeople at both places..and nothing as of yet. I suppose I'll just have to wait for it to pop up!

Both places? When I was looking I found 4 places where I constantly looked.

Another factor you should know is that the "mass" e-mails go out from TSS in alphabetical order and some people have posted on this sight that they were not getting the newest e-mails (listings gone as soon as they receive the e-mail) and it was said that many people at the end of the alphabet get e-mails hours after others at the beginning. Ask to be put on a "call" list if you have not already done so. Good luck
