I'm planning trip to Disneyworld for the first time w/ my 3 yr old and 2yr old, wife and Grandma.

Is there any reason May 6-13 is a bad month/day to go? Please help.l

Late April through Early June, with the exception of Memorial Day, is usually moderate attendance levels. So it will be fairly busy but not unbearably so. We were there in May a few years ago and it was nice so I don't think that would be a bad time to go personally. The weather should be nice as well.

Here's a link to Allearsnet.com Historical Attendance Levels at WDW.

We went about that time in 2003 and it was great- no really long waits (tops- 30 minutes!). Weather was still pretty hot, but I think anything over 85 is HOT. And Animal Kingdom just always seems hotter, for some reason... But, all in all, a very nice time to go!

We went last year in May and encountered very few waits anywhere we went, of course the weekend was busy all over but we expected that. In fact we will be back in May, the 7-13th!

We were there for the 50th anniversary kick-off in May 05 and thought the crowds were not bad at all. May is our new favorite time to go. :thumbsup2

We are thinking of going for the exact same dates as you are.

We've always gone the 1st week of May & that's been great!

It should be a great time to go. Not too hot not too wet and not too crowded. Have a great time!
