The obvious would be to get their as early as possible. My daughter wants to the June 1st departure day and someone here posted that the Jan. 9th and the Feb. 1st arrivals depart on June 1st. For those that arrive on the 9th, would they have a better chance at getting their apt. choice?? I think the other dates she has to choose from would be the May departure dates. She wants to get there early and stay as late as possible.

I don't think it makes a whole lot of difference in the apartments. All the fall cps will be leaving in early janurary, before the spring people get there so there should be lots of open apartments. Also international programs somtimes have weird start dates, so there is always someone coming it seems.

All I've heard is the the nearby Walmart runs out of basics like hangers after the first few arrival dates. I'm personally going down as early as possible because I'm going to quit my job before my end-December vacation instead of trying to get a week off in retail, and then quit a month later, so I'm trying to be jobless and out of school for as short a time as possible.

I am in the Spring 2012 CP and my arrival date is January 9th and my departure date is May 1st. I don't know what the Spring advantage is. But if she is just in the regular program then if she goes in on the 9th then her departure date will be May 1st, not June 1st.

Sorry tink. the advantage programs are longer than the others, Im not sure on my departure date yet, but my arrival is the first for advantage this year (1/18). Departure for this program is slated (I think) for early to mid august.

No it is definitely June 1st. She already chose the 9th and it told her the departure was June 1st.

As far as the check-in & out dates. It can vary by role. :D Just thought that Id throw that out there1
