Is there an OKW GV and Studio near each other

We will be traveling w/ extended family from June 4-11, 2007 and staying at the OKW. Some of us will be in a GV and the others in a studio. Do you know of any building which has these two units very close together? (maybe door to door?) MS told me that there were none that had a lock-off door between them, that is why I'm looking for two very, very close together. Any help would be appreciated!

I believe any building with a GV will have plenty of studios also. MS is correct: there would be no GV / studio lock-offs.

Just be sure you make it clear to MS that you would like the studio in the same building and on the same floor as the GV entry.

We requested to have a studio and Grand Villa close together at OKW, but the best they could do was give us a studio in a building across the street. It worked out ok though. I think it just depends on what is available when you check in. If the studios in your Grand Villa bldg. are all occupied on the day you check in with no one checking out that day, they will give you a studio as close as possible but it may be in another bldg.

If you register your group as a Grand Gathering ( I assume you will have at least 8 people with a GV and a studio), they make it a priority to block your rooms together. They did this for our group and we moved 3 times during our stay. In fact, this took priority over the other requests. We can't complain. We had excellent locatons everytime. There is never any guarantee but this should improve your chances + you have the opportunity to do some of the special GG offerings. We did the dinner safari and it was a lot of fun.

If you book early, you should be able to request both the studio and GV in the same building. Most GV buildings will have lock-off studio/1 bedroom units on the ends of the building and under the GVs.

All the buildings with GV's also have studios, but the question is if one of those studios will be unoccupied the day you check-in. Most of the buildings with GV's have 4 studios.
