Is there an official F & W Fest cookbook this year?

I love trying the new recipes and am hoping there's a new cookbook for the Food & Wine Fest this year. Does anyone know? I've always bought one in the past. They make great souveniers.

hope someone can answer this, I collect cookbooks and I haven't bought one from Disney in years, That's one that I would definetly buy :)

The last two I purchased really had some neat recipes in them, so I'm hoping for a new one, too.

Yes, saw it yesterday at the Festival Shop towards Canada as you enter the World Showcase.

Thanks, I'll get one when I go to LeCelliar for Vhristmas Eve dinner, can't get here fast enough
:)

Great question to ask! I almost forgot about the Food and Wine Festival Cookbook and I'm so glad they are offering them again. I have picked one up for the past couple of years that they have offered them and really love it. It's so nice to be able to pull it out and recreate a dish that I tried at the Festival......it brings back nice memories and only gets me excited for the next Festival to come!

Is it a hardback cookbook this year rather than a spiral bound as in years past? I hope so for $20 .... seems like we paid about $11 last year.

That's what I was just going to ask, if it's the same style as last year, or years before, that would be quite a price hike.

If it is hard cover, it's going to be harder to get home :(

It's a hardback 3 ring binder.

I'm not sure how I feel about the book this year, I only flipped through it a minute and need to check it out again, but it's "20 selected recipes" from current and previous Food and Wine Festivals, so it looks like it doesn't have all of the recipes from this year, which would disappoint me if true.

I didn't flip through it, but the ones we were looking at looked like they had a paperback attached (well included in the plastic shrink wrap) for the $20 price. I planned on purchasing the set when we went up. When you purchased yours..was the second book attached?

I haven't purchased it yet, but the part attached to the back was the actual recipe pages - they didn't put them in the bindings yet, just kept them bundled on the back.

I just have to check to make sure that the recipes aren't all repeats, since I have the ones from 2004-2007.

let us know if you can what you find out. If it is a 'best of' and I already have the prior years (I think I also have 04-07) then that's $20 more towards wine! LOL

I was there the last week end of F&W in 2007, everything was on sale, perhaps I will be lucky again this year?

I was flipping through this year's cookbook and most of the receipes are repeats from years prior. I didn't buy it, since I have the same ones from when they used to give out the receipe cards. Save your $ if you have a book from previous years.
