Is there a Wishes cruise? Would you do that or MVMCP?

We have a large group and we'll be there early-mid December. After reading the recent reviews of MVMCP I'm thinking that it might not be a great idea for us with 2 easily flustered people and 2 small kids.

I think I read something about a cruise for families with cookies and hot chocolate that allows you to view the fireworks. Anyone know? Which would you choose? How do I go about booking a cruise?

MVMCP-Hands Down! With two small children they will love being able to walk on most of the kids rides since the MVMCP is a limited ticket event, the lines are not so bad. We stayed till close and from 10 to close the lines were nonexistent in Fantasyland.

Not even a choice - MVMCP. It is absolutely WONDERFUL, your whole family will LOVE it. Nothing beats the Christmas Parade!!!

You need to call the Grand Gathering planners (the number escapes me at the moment). If you're not registered as a "Grand Gathering" there are other "Specialty Cruises" http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/moreMagic/otherRecDetail?id=OtherRecSpecialtyCruisesDetailPage (better info can be found by searching these boards), including one for Wishes. I've heard that some of these don't have the sound track piped in.

Come Sunday or Monday, we should have our Grand Gathering ressies booked!

No contest!! Hands down I would choose MVMCP. There is nothing like it. It is magical. We love it. Debby

If the pocket book can bear it, I would experience both.

If you have to choose, MVMCP is the absolute best Disney World gives for something special.
