Is there a way to add park hopper option...

ONLY to the last day of a 5-day MYW ticket without spending a fortune? We plan on using the first 4 days (1 day for each park), then 2 days at US/IOA (FREE tickets for that with Airmiles! ), then a day off and then a last day at one of the WDW parks.

I know I can add the park hopper option to only the last day (speaking of which, where do I do this? At ASSp?), but can I somehow do it in a way that makes it a bit cheaper than paying an additional $53+ per person?

Not that I know of.. the only place to add it on is through Disney themselves.

If you're going to spend the money to park hop, add it at the beginning of the trip so that you can hop those first 4 days. Otherwise, I'd save the money, and pick your favourite park for that 5th day.

It will cost you the same amount to add it to the last day as it does to add it to your tickets to start with and you can only do it at Disney at customer service or the ticket booths. So if you're going to do it then do it on the first day and you'll have it to use the whole time you're there.
Since AK closes early you could always go to MK or Epcot later for fireworks if you had the hopper to start with.
Disney never does anything that will save you money.
